G block was a single storey building with two entrances. It was used for CDT and as I recall “metal work” in the earlier school. Countersinking, drill bits, tools with funny names like “odd leg calipers”<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I remember making a coat hanger , but that’s about all.<\/p>\n

G block was also used for graphics and electronics. It was a place where things were built and where sparks flew. Soldering , L.E.Ds ,\u00a0AND gates<\/a>, and\u00a0OR gates<\/a>\u00a0– practical fun.<\/p>\n

G block was also immortalised in the film clockwise with a streaker running from one door to the other with a cheering class looking on and banging the windows.<\/p>\n
